Since November, Muface officials have called for prompt government action; the CSIF strike is still ongoing.
Muface Nerve: Officials Decry Healthcare Shortcomings as CSIF Continues Strike |
A problem that began in November is being urgently resolved by the administration, according to Muface officials. Mutualists are feeling uneasy because there is no clear deadline for insurers to comply with the new second tender, despite Civil Service Minister Oscar Lopez's belief that the healthcare agreement issue is almost addressed. Without having a clear idea of the mutuality's future, they are watching the days go by. In response, CSIF has confirmed that the February 13 strike would go on as planned.
Regarding the Muface healthcare arrangement, Miguel Borra, president of the Independent and Civil Servants' Trade Union (CSIF), has urged the government to find a solution.
